Generally speaking, natural rubber refers to the solid product made from natural rubber latex collected from rubber trees through coagulation, drying and other production processes. Natural rubber is a natural polymer compound with polyisoprene as its main component. Its rubber hydrocarbon (polyisoprene) content exceeds 90%, and also contains a small amount of protein, fatty acids, sugar and ash.

Physical characteristics of natural rubber. Natural rubber has high elasticity at room temperature, low plasticity, good impact toughness, small hysteresis loss, low heat during multiple deformations, good flex resistance, and good insulation properties because it is non-polar rubber. Rubber, together with plastics and fibers known as three composite materials, is the only polymer material with high stretchability and excellent elasticity. The main characteristics of rubber are that the elastic mold is extremely small and the elongation rate is very high.

Secondly, it has quite good resistance to breathability and various chemical media and insulation. Some special synthetic rubbers have better oil resistance and heat resistance, and can resist the expansion of fatty oils, greases, hydraulic oils, fuel oils and solvent oils; their cold resistance can be as low as -60°C to -80°C, and their heat resistance High resistance from 180℃ to 350℃. Rubber can also withstand various deflections and bending deformations due to small hysteresis losses. The third characteristic of rubber is that it can be used, mixed and compounded with various materials to modify and obtain good overall performance.
